All Star

Another shoe shot! One of my favorite pairs of shoes, they can definitely tell a story. I had many pairs of these shoes growing up. The shot was slightly grainy when I took it, since the shoe was a little grungy I decided to give it more of a grainy look.

Park

This is another shot of a park in Boston, between Fenway and the MFA. This picture was originally taken in color. Since it was a cloudy day I decided to make it black and white.

Practice

So I haven't really gone outside anywhere lately, due to working so much and being tired when I'm not. So I've been practicing with objects around the house, mainly my cat. I took this picture inside where there was barely any light. I used my flash and put a white hand towel over the flash to diffuse it a little. I was pretty pleased with the results of the lighting, it made it so my subject wasn't washed out completely.

Fishing Off the Pier B&W

I took some advice and made this picture b&w. I'm very pleased with the results. I never really know when a picture would look best in b&w. I should practice more with this color.
