I took a picture of my dinner tonight, yuck can't believe I eat this stuff. I used the macro setting on my camera for this shot, it came out a little grainy. I need to figure out how to get it to not be so grainy. I really need to get out and take some more pictures. I've been finding things around the house to take pictures of in the meantime.

Re: grain-
First of all, try shooting in a higher resolution (bigger picture) and then shrinking it down later. It looks like you're taking your photo at 640x400 pixels?
Secondly, try using a lower ISO speed, if your camera will allow. High ISO speeds (generally 400 and up, depending on the camera) produce a lot of noise (grain).
Thanks for the tips! I'll use a lower ISO speed next time. I actually shrunk the picture down to 640x400, the original picture was 2816x2112.
